The PPU-Max-Flex is powered by connecting it to an AC power source (100-277 VAC 50/60 Hz), or connecting it to (2) solar panels. It contains (4) 1.25kWh deep cycle AGM batteries. The PPU-Max-Flex has the ability to use both AC and solar panels as power inputs. It has all the cababilities and features of both the PPU-Max-AC and PPU-Max-Solar. It is commonly used when the site does not have AC power initially but it is anticipated that AC will be installed to the site at a later time. With the Flex unit the site can begin as a solar site and when (and if) AC power is brought to the site it can be switched to AC with a flip of a switch. Many options are available for the PPU depending on user requirements.
