The PPU-Max-AC connects to an AC power source (100-277 VAC 50/60 Hz) and contains (4) 1.25kWh deep cycle AGM batteries.
At its most basic level, the PPU acts as an outdoor UPS capable of extremely long run times on a repeated basis. With its Type1 surge protection device, redundant power supplies, powerful battery bank and large output capacity, the PPU-Max line is powerful, rugged, and well suited to larger loads and challenging environments. It provides all electrical loads with continuous power even when power is inconsistent or periodically absent. The PPU reports real time data such as site power status, battery charge state, system events, and security events. Many options are available for the PPU depending on user requirements.
